Health professionals from across the nation and globe took advantage of continuing education opportunities during APHA's 135th Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., in November.
Annual Meeting attendees earned credits by attending and evaluating scientific sessions and 20 Learning Institute courses. Overall, about 1,300 public health professionals signed up for continuing education credits during the Annual Meeting.
APHA's Learning Institute drew almost 800 participants. The full- and half-day courses covered a range of topics, such as community-based participatory research, epidemiology, health monitoring and ethnography.
