Wartsila said Dec. 11 it was awarded a contract by Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC), the national electric utility, to supply a dual-fuel power plant:

The contract is valued at about US$77 million (approx. EUR 52.3 million). This baseload power plant will be the first natural gas reciprocating engine plant of its kind in the Caribbean region.
