CAISTOR Grammar School has been ranked higher than Eton College and other top schools in a league table of student success.
With every one of last summer's GCSE candidates scoring at least five top passes, including maths and English, at grades A* to C the school is included in a BBC table with the other 106 English schools with a 100 per cent pass rate for a BBC table.
When ranked by average points score per candidate the school was placed 14th in the country - with only two private schools, Perse Girls in Cambridge and Mariste Senior School, Windsoe, placed above it. This was an improvement of two places.
