Aaron Kirk Douglas doesn't make films so much as he makes sure they get made.
A Portland real estate marketing director who produces small films as a hobby, Douglas is the go-to guy for independent filmmakers too busy to think about such subjects as signing contracts, getting permits, marketing and securing distribution deals.
A Springfield native and Thurston High School graduate, Douglas comes to town this weekend as a featured guest of the OpenLens Film Festival.
