BOLTON - After four years of not having a waiting list for upcoming kindergartners, some Lancaster parents are finding it difficult to locate full-day child care.
Estee Ramirez, of North Lancaster, presented her grievance at the School Committee meeting last Thursday.
She and her husband are both working parents with one child already in the Lancaster system. Her second child is currently at the bottom of the waiting list.
"I've been everywhere," Ramirez said. And with the lack of full-day kindergarten and childcare in the area, she's running out of options.
Superintendent Mike Wood sympathized.
