Methanol fuel
Pure methanol and pure ethanol (ethyl alcohol) can be used as vehicle fuels. Such vehicles are usually called methanol vehicles or ethanol vehicles. They can also be used as vehicle fuel after blending with gasoline. Such fuels are usually called methanol gasoline or ethanol gasoline. A great deal of work has been done on experimental implementation both at home and abroad, and many practical applications have been proven.
