ATLANTA -- With a focus on hot spots such as Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America, the Bobbin Show/American Apparel Manufacturers Association Convention is taking on an ever-increasing international accent.
In all, the event targets buyers from 85 countries, in addition to its established base of American manufacturers looking for more sourcing offshore or seeking a competitive edge through updated domestic production.
Over 3,000 foreign buyers, out of a total of 18,237 attendees, are expected to be on hand for this year's show, scheduled for Sept. 12-15 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
