Article: More talks over Greaves closure.

MORE talks were due to take place today to see if there is any hope of saving the Polestar Greaves print plant in Scarborough.

But initial indications from a meeting between the management and union officials on Tuesday are that the plant is unlikely to stay open.

Union officials have discussed with company bosses whether there is any chance of staving off the closure, due to take place in April, for a little longer.

Other issues have centred on whether vacancies will be available elsewhere in the Polestar group, which has 20 plants across Europe, and redundancy terms.
