Two Chicago residents were arrested at 9:30 p.m. Thursday after an East Dundee officer found their car parked next the fire exit door at Wal-Mart, police said.
Tara Davis, 21, of 3930 W. Congress and Earl C. Tate, 47, of 1055 W. 70th St., were each charged with felony retail theft, police said.
Tate also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a cocaine pipe was found, police said.
The police officer said he found the car with its engine running parked next to the fire door of Wal-Mart, 620 S. Dundee Ave., East Dundee.
