`Nocturnal," the new album by The Black Dahlia Murder, is the record that singer Trevor Strnad hopes "clears the band's name."
"We are not a metal-core band," Strnad said of The Black Dahlia Murder.
And "Nocturnal" is not a metal-core record. Rather, "Nocturnal" is a brutal, fast, thrashing jolt of sound that shares more with the debauched and grimy death-metal scene than with the disgruntled and whiny metal-core camp.
