If Don White were any smarter, he would have quit folk music years ago. After all, during the great folk renaissance of the late 1980s, White found himself alongside scores of musicians who played guitar better than he did, sang better than he did, and controlled the stage better than he did.
But White had one thing going for him, even when he didn't know it.
