RESIDENTS and traders around a former market site have come out against Calderdale Council's plans to turn it into a [pounds sterling]2 million museum storage container.
The proposals are to house a vast collection of ancient and historical artefacts in a purpose-built store in Sowerby Bridge.
But nearby residents have already turned their noses up at the plans, saying they feel abandoned since the launch of the new [pounds sterling]1 million market in August. They want something that attracts people to their side of town.
