Pontiac, Mich. - A new player is joining a small but growing segment of the cellphone business.

Telesource Inc., a remanufacturer of telecommunications products for more than 10 years, has begun to refurbish cellular phones.

Telesource is one of a few remanufacturers, also called refurbishers, offering retailers the chance to acquire used phones at much lower wholesale cost than new ones.
