AN EXPERIMENTAL video has been posted on a popular video clip website to inform people about the fragile sea defences in Selsey.

Dee Caldwell, of Ham, in Selsey, posted the footage on Youtube because he wanted to show people how serious the problem of protecting Selsey's coastline has become.

He said: "Not many people know what's going on, the average man doesn't really understand what risk there is of being seriously flooded.

"I wanted to show the Bunn reef being built and the power of the waves.

"It is far more effective to show the situation on video than by drawings."
