THE fate of Harry Potter hangs in the balance once more - this time in acourt of law.

Author JK Rowling has started legal action over claims that a rival author istrying to 'hijack' her plans for an authorised encyclopaedia about the boywizard.

Miss Rowling has often spoken of her intention to produce a comprehensivereference guide for charity, detailing all the characters who have appeared inthe hugely popular children's books that have sold more than 400million copiesworldwide.
