The Texas Rangers, an elite law enforcement group made famous by wild west films, opened hearings to investigate recent allegations that a female officer, Cheryl Steadman, was sexually harassed by male officers.
The hearing prompted revelations that two White Texas Rangers were disciplined last year for making sexual slurs toward another female officer, Sgt. Christine Nix, who is Black, state records revealed.
