LINCOLNSHIRE Police are turning to hidden cameras in a bid to clamp down on speeding motorcyclists.
Operation Stealth, to be introduced in the spring, will see these cameras attached to vehicles in a bid to catch out bikers travelling well in excess of the speed limit.
In defending the decision, Insp Andy McManus - a self-professed 'passionate' bike enthusiast - says the scheme has been introduced to save lives and deter thrill-seekers from harming themselves and others.
"We're only targeting high-end offenders. We are looking at bikes doing extreme speeds," he said, adding that riders caught a few miles per hour over the speed limit will be dealt with as normal, ...
