ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Hughes Supply, Inc. (NYSE: HUG) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Atlantic Pump & Equipment Company effective September 1, 1995.

This previously announced transaction was a cash transaction which will be accounted for using the purchase method of accounting and is expected to be anti-dilutive to earnings per share for the current year.
