GREEN BAY -- Don't get the wrong idea. Tom Coughlin hasn't morphed into Tom Charmin, squeezably soft and cuddly. If you don't believe the New York Giants coach, just ask him if he's softened.
"Softened is not the word that I would choose," Coughlin said as he prepared his Giants for today's NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
So what word would you choose, Tom?
"I think I've said about enough about that topic," Coughlin replied gruffly. "You can use whatever word you want."
