Article: Manufacturing technology consumption up 6 percent.(wholesaler news)

September U.S. manufacturing technology consumption totaled $438.95 million, according to the Association for Manufacturing Technology and the American Machine Tool Distributors' Association.

This total was up 21.7 percent from August, and up 2.9 percent from the total of $426.39 million reported for September 2006. With a year-to-date total of $3 billion, 2007 was up 6.7 percent compared with 2006.
