TDS' new "WiMax" fixed wireless service offerings for home users features speeds that are faster downstream (from the Internet to a user) than upstream (from a user to the Internet), with the maximum upstream speeds being much faster than what is available from cable and phone companies locally. Downstream and upstream were transposed in one reference in The Capital Times on Tuesday.
