On September 10, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame announced this year's inductees. They are: Bob Piero and Mac McAnally (Songwriter); bluegrass duo Flatt & Scruggs and Hank Williams, Jr. (Songwriter/Artist). A tie during the voting process resulted in two inductees from the Songwriter/ Artist category instead of the usual one. In recognition of her career achievements, gospel music legend Dottie Rambo was honored with special induction at the direction of the Hall of Fame board.
