Ulster Transport proved to be a place not for those with high blood pressure or of a nervous disposition as the ladies of East Antrim Bowling League progressed to the final of the McIlroy Cup for their third time.
The East Antrim ladies started off in first gear losing 6 shots on the first end. On mat one Gladys Peel had a diabolical start being 7 shots down by the third end, but as usual she kept her rink focused and by the ninth they were all square 9 all against J McKee, only losing 2 on the final end. A great pick-up for a skip recovering from flu.
