It happened again today while I was driving to the hospital. In and of itself it is not a big problem, but I think it is indicative of some of the problems of society.
I was at a major intersection, waiting for the left turn light to change to green. It changed to green, but I just sat there, not moving into the intersection. I had the right of way, the turn arrow was green. But I hesitated.
Everyday there's at least one driver in such a hurry to get to wherever he is headed that he runs the red light. He hopes to get through the intersection before the stopped drivers start moving. Today it was the drivers of a Saab convertible and a fancy pickup truck who ...
