I have been an election judge in Arapahoe County since 2000, so I am familiar with the ups and downs of voting machines.Our voting machines have been decertified, but the scanners, at least in this county, have been OK'd. Why don't all the counties use paper ballots, as Boulder County does? These could be read by electronic scanners.The concern with paper ballots appears to be satisfying the federal law that disabled voters be allowed to vote. We don't have that many handicapped voters at a given polling place, at least not in the one I'm familiar ...
