Metal prices to decline by 20 pct to 30 pct in 2008 - analyst
Shanghai. January 24. INTERFAX-CHINA - Global metals prices are likely to decline between 20 percent and 30 percent this year on the back of a U.S. economic slowdown and a downturn China's growth. However, this will only be a short-term glitch, with demand from China, India and other developing economies supporting the growth of metals prices in the long term, a UBS Investment Research analyst forecast yesterday.
