ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- CKE Restaurants Inc. (NYSE: CKR) today reported significant growth in earnings and revenues for the 12 and 28 weeks ended August 14, 1995.
-- Same-store sales for the second quarter increased three percent, compared to a one percent decline for the same period last year. This quarterly increase is the first experienced by the company in five years.
-- Net income for the 12-week period increased 213 percent to $2.8 million, or $.15 per share, compared to net income of $864,000, or $.05 per share, for the same prior year period.
