Three years ago, the dinosaurs vanished from view. Perennial delights of New Yorkers and a source of awe and inspiration for the city's children, the dinosaur halls of the American Museum of Natural History closed for renovation.
Now the dinosaurs are back, and with a vengeance. Their quarters have been totally redesigned, new specimens are on display, and many fossil skeletons have been remounted to reflect recent research on how these creatures moved and acted.
