England's capital city has become a global test site for electric vehicles that may soon be seen in cities such as Berlin, Paris and Rome.
"London has a very environmentally friendly congestion charge as well as free parking and free recharging for electric cars," Steve Schneider, CEO of electric car maker ZAP, told Automotive News Europe. "The demand seems to be there, which is why London is the first place in Europe we're launching."
