NORTHVILLE, Mich., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Mems Technology Berhad (Memstech) released the following statement by K. Sooriakumar, its Chief Executive Officer, in response to a patent infringement investigation initiated by the International Trade Commission ("ITC") on January 3, 2008 at the request of Knowles Electronics LLC (Knowles).
The ITC is a special court focused on preventing products from entering the United States if they are found to unfairly compete with the products of U.S. Industries. It should be noted that the ITC investigation is limited to silicon microphones and does not affect any other products made by the Mems Technology Group of Companies.
