California Pizza Kitchen Inc. is embroiled in a legal battle in which a former employee recently filed suit alleging sexual harassment and discrimination against the company, its owners and one owner's brother. A week earlier, the restaurant company filed suit against the employee, alleging breach of fiduciary duty and good faith.
Kelly Scarbrough was hired by California Pizza Kitchen from January 1993 through March 1994 as director of real estate to research sites and negotiate real estate deals for the company.
