LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 1995--Kazunori Yamamoto has been named president of Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc., effective Sept. 11, 1995.
Yamamoto replaces Shoichi Yamada, who will continue to serve as president of Pioneer North America Inc.
Yamamoto comes to head Pioneer's U.S. subsidiary from Pioneer High Fidelity Ltd., Great Britain, where he served as managing director since 1990. In the eighteen years that Yamamoto has been with Pioneer Electronics Corp., his positions have included general manager of marketing in the international division in Tokyo and managing director of Pioneer-Melchars GmbH, West Germany.
