PANIC set in when Warren Self feared he would be wrongly blamed for breaking a window.
He ran from police leading to him appearing before Lynn magistrates on Monday charged with obstructing officers called to the scene of the breakage.
Self (19), of 104 Bagge Road, Gaywood, admitted the offence, for which he was fined [pounds sterling]50 and ordered to pay [pounds sterling]55 costs. He also admitted possessing cannabis, for which he was conditionally discharged for a year. The magistrates ordered the cannabis to be destroyed.
