FROM A LETTER BY THE HON. JUSTICE G.N. WILLIAMS:
"The Commission's Report has been tabled in the Queensland Parliament. The Queensland Attorney-General has announced that his Government will legislate in this area although nothing has happened in that regard to date. If the Government does legislate it could use the draft provisions included in our Report as the basis for the legislation. The legislation, if enacted, will apply to Queensland alone.
