In the next decade, Manitoba's baby boomers will reach the ripe old age of 55-64 and become the highest growth age-group segment of the provincial population. As this transition occurs, a variety of social issues will arise - many of them unprecedented. As a group, boomers have vastly different lifestyles and expectations than their predecessors. Furthermore, boomers expected life to begin at 40.
