Dry System Will Provide Environmental, Operational Benefits
LANCASTER, Ohio -- Basin Electric Power Cooperative has chosen Allen-Sherman-Hoff (A-S-H), a Diamond Power International, Inc. company, to supply a completely dry, bottom-ash handling system - the latest technology for this type of ash removal. The utility's new 385-megawatt pulverized coal-based plant at Dry Fork Generating Station in Northeast Wyoming will incorporate advanced environmental control technology and is being constructed to meet the growing electricity demand of its members throughout nine states.
