Prudential Financial Inc.'s board has elected John R. Strangfeld CEO and chairman. Mr. Strangfeld, who had been vice chairman and headed all of the Newark, N.J.-based company's U.S. businesses, succeeds Arthur F. Ryan who is retiring.
New York-based Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. has named Daniel S. Glaser CEO of its Marsh Inc. brokerage operation. Mr. Glaser, who had been managing director of AIG Europe (U.K.) Ltd. and regional president of the U.K. and Ireland division of American International Underwriters, replaces Brian Storms.
