New Owners Promise to Revitalize Brand
PLANO, Texas -- Cookies by Design, Inc., franchisor of the Cookies by Design concept, announced the sale of its assets to Crumb Corps LLC effective December 7, 2007.
Cookies by Design was founded in 1983 by Gwen Willhite Gilliam, and was first franchised in 1987. Ms. Gilliam stated that, "After almost 25 years, I felt the time had come for me to move on. I began searching for the right buyer - someone who appreciated the history we have built, understood the franchising concept and, most importantly, possessed what is needed to move this brand forward."
