MODESTO, Calif. -- E. & J. Gallo Winery donated over $90,000.00 to Hunger-Related Events through the Taste of the NFL Wine Program this year. The Gallo donation translates into approximately 750,000 meals, or about 30 meals to those in need for each case of Gallo wine sold by their 4,825 restaurant partners in 49 states.
Guests at those restaurants could enjoy a glass of select Gallo wines (Gallo Family Vineyards, Frei Brothers, Louis M. Martini, DaVinci, Rancho Zabaco, Bridlewood, MacMurray Ranch, Whitehaven, Barefoot Bubbly, McWilliams and Martin Codax) during September, October and November of 2007, knowing that Gallo was helping hunger relief efforts across America.
