DALLAS -- For two football teams that take the field in Glendale, Arizona on Feb. 3, it will be the biggest day of the year. The same can be said for 6,200 Pizza Hut restaurants across the United States. The day of the big game is king when it comes to ordering America's Favorite Pizza.
Each year, Pizza Hut handles 2.5 million calls on championship Sunday, making game day Pizza Hut's busiest day of the year. The orders, 60-70% more than those received on a typical Sunday, are enough to cover more than 50 football fields with pizza.
