If you're going to write a two-part, seven-hour play, it had better be the best thing since sliced bread. Tony Kushner's "Angels in America" leaves sliced bread in the dust. His theatrical meditation on sex and death, politics and history, religion and philosophy is arguably the greatest play of our age.
