CLINTON - With officials from Nestle Waters of North America looking to schedule a public hearing in hopes of shedding more light on its plans for the Wekepeke Reservoir, the issue of an impending conservation restriction on that property remains unresolved.

The Wekepeke is owned by Clinton, but located in Sterling and Leominster. Clinton drew water from it until the 1960s. Since then, Clinton has drawn its water exclusively from the Wachusett Reservoir.
