Carlson Companies Inc of the US (CCI) and One Equity Partners, a subsidiary of the American JP Morgan Company, were cleared by the European Commission on 4 July to proceed with the acquisition of joint control of Carlson Wagonlit, a company active in the travel agency services sector.
CCI provides services in the marketing, travel and hospitality industries and operates and/or is a franchisor of hotels, cruise ships, travel agencies and restaurants around the world. One Equity Partners is a private equity company that is ultimately controlled by JP Morgan Company, which is a leading global financial services firm.
