SAN FRANCISCO -- As part of its routine surveillance process, Fitch Ratings affirms the 'A' rating on Dos Palos-Oro Loma Joint Unified School District (JUSD), CA's (the district) $4.1 million outstanding general obligation (GO) bonds. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
The rating reflects the district's low direct and net debt burdens, sound financial position, and stabilized enrollment. These factors are somewhat offset by an agriculturally dominated economic base with above-average unemployment rates and low income levels. Debt levels are expected to remain low, given minimal capital needs and no plans to issue debt.
