J. Lee Wiederholt died unexpectedly on August 19. Lee was senior vice president of PRO-ED, Inc., trustee and president of the Donald D. Hammill Foundation, and trustee of the Hammill Institute on Disabilities. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Rockhurst College (1965) and a Master of Arts degree (1969) and a Doctorate of Education degree (1971) from Temple University. During his career, Lee was the chair of the Department of Special Education at The University of Texas at Austin; an associate professor at the University of Arizona where he directed the Leadership Training Institute in Learning Disabilities; and a special education teacher in the Philadelphia ...
