Dispersion of Intellectual Property
It is a commonplace observation that technology has become a global commodity. However, profitable exploitation is limited by the ability of the owner of intellectual property rights to enforce them in every foreign nation where the technology is to be applied. Control over intellectual property can only be as effective as the local laws allow.
