The public forum being held Feb. 8 to discuss the new kidney allocation policy being crafted by the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN)/United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) kidney transplantation committee is a signal that the committee is closing in on rolling out the revised policy for public scrutiny.
It hasn't been easy.
