A FOOTBALL tournament held in honour of a popular 17-year-old who was stabbed to death took place on Saturday.
Ten six-a-side teams took part in the tournament, which was organised in memory of Batley teenager Ahmed Hassan.
The Heckmondwike Grammar A-level student was fatally wounded while waiting for a train at Dewsbury train station on December 15.
Tournament organiser Imran Rafiq, from Mount Pleasant, said: "It went excellently. There was an absolutely brilliant atmosphere.
"At one point there was a penalty and every single spectator was behind the family team. About 60 people were there watching.
