A LOCAL ice hockey rising star has again been selected to play for his country.

Jamie Tinsley, of the Mobilx Vipers Academy, has been chosen to play for the Great Britain U18 ice hockey team.

The 17-year-old plays for the Academy's U18s and ENL team as well as training with the Elite team when his college commitments allow.

The GB team will be taking part in the World Championships which will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, during March 2008.
