Red Condor's MAG1500 Message Assurance Gateway has hit the market, targeting small to medium sized (SMB) businesses needing more than 100 mailboxes and 20 domains.
According to the Calif.-based company, the MAG1500 provides small enterprise networks with "advanced, powerful, affordable e-mail security, previously available only from higher-capacity appliances." It also reportedly fights spam, viruses, phishing scams, identify theft and other types of e-mail- based attacks. Should such attacks hobble a SMB network, the appliance automatically fails over to Red Condor's hosted service without any interruption to e-mail.
